APMG International is part of APM Group, a Certification Body who works in partnership with organisations to develop high quality training and qualification courses and solutions based on their Intellectual Property (IP). Together we translate IP into Best Practice that can be shared through training courses and qualifications.

APMG accredit training organisations to ensure they have the appropriate material, skilled trainers and internal systems to provide consistent and repeatable experience to their clients.

APMG started out in 1993 by working in partnership with the UK Cabinet Office to create a standard for project management, with the joint vision of improving outcomes. After this success, APMG rapidly became known as a world leading accreditation body working with governments and organisations to create standards and accessible frameworks which improve processes, skills and knowledge. In the past two years, over 80% of the FTSE 100 and over a third of the Fortune 500 and S&P 500 have adopted certification programs developed by APMG International.

APMG operates globally. Their head office is in the UK and they have offices around the world including Australia, China, India, Netherlands, South Africa and the United States.

APM Group is audited annually by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) and are accredited for BS ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for product/process and ISO/IEC 17024:2012 for personnel

Certification relates to an audit to confirm whether an organisation, a product or an individual meet the criteria laid out in a recognised standard or scheme. Effectively, it is a third party confirmation via an audit that all as it should be.

Certification and Accreditation isn’t a one-off activity. It is a continuous process.

Accreditation elevates learning experiences and demonstrates a quality-centric approach.

APMG conducts an in-depth audit of the training organisations delivering training as well as the trainers. This includes reviewing internal governance and the management processes, such as reviewing quality management systems (QMS) to ensure that training organisations have the appropriate material, skilled trainers and internal systems to provide consistent and repeatable experience to their clients.
